I'm going for the sure thing-she's mad as a hatter. Last thing he'll remember is some polite chit chat at the bar and feeling a little warm. Next, he'll wake up tied to a cot in her van, naked, covered in glycerine, and wearing a Fabio wig. She'll be muttering something under her breath like, "I told you.....and I TOLD you, but NOOOOO. You just couldn't stay in your room....Oh yes....I'll take care of that mister! They all want you, but they can't have you. You've been mine all along". All the while she's digging through her tool box looking for just the right thing to.... Naturally Candy Colored Clown is playing on the 8 track and she's suckin down nitrous through a clear plastic mask.
Brrrr. PS-Cage must have a thing about peaches. Some sort of reference was made to that on Wild at Heart as well. |
Looking Glass - song was Brandy, one of those songs that you get in your head and can't ever get out!
|
Sebring77 - man thats some wild *****!, did you know my ex-wife? (chills...)
|
Dammit Lube!! Now I've got that *****ty song playing in my head!!
 |
O.K., it's 9:15pm on the east coast, is Shaun home yet? Bet it does'nt last much longer;)
|
They have been sat, had their first cocktail, Shaun is wondering about what to eat that won't give hin gas or bad breath, she is ranting about the dif between the south and bean-town. He is listening as attentively as possible, trying not to say too much but not too little eighter. He tries to recall the advice tabs gave him but it just ain't there.
Shaun looks over at her and notices that her blouse works well with her modest cleavage, her pants are just tight enough and then he begins to wonder about the blend of the fabric, the weave and then it hits him - the margins! Yes the margins, the importer is making a killing on the margins! he doesn't hear her ask him... |
....." I close my eyes...and I drift awaaayyyy.......":o

dream of Maryanne walk'n away....
Now you have that *****'n song in my head! |
Hmmm, tough one to describe. Will hyperbole be credible?
Let's just say this was the best f*cking date I've been on in a long time! Thanks to all with great advice, thoughts and generally crass suggestions; they were all warranted and appreciated, and very helpful. If I weren't a gentleman, I could answer a few of those earlier questions, RE: KurtV, but I've got to brush my teeth (easier with the permanent smile) and get to bed. Need to put together the Macy's proposal tomorrow, in NY on Friday. Big days ahead. S |

YEA!!!!!!!!!! Great news. Glad it went well. (read my "dave and busters" post for the second date - I think I posted it after you left....perhaps there's a place like that there...OMG so fun!) |
I told you guys we wouldn't hear the whole story. Good for you Shaun...no kiss and tell here. A true gent. Glad it went well.
Why are you so anxious to brush your teeth though? ;-) |

Next date we're going out to the East Coast Grill here in Cambridge: http://www.eastcoastgrill.net/ We see mussels steamed in thai coconut milk Oysters BBQ in our immediate future. |
Shaun, for all the teasing (which you take extremely well considering your political bent :D ) I think all of us were rooting for you. Hope all goes well on the next date and perhaps you can incorporate more of our suggestions. It's like we are all there with you, which we would be if we can just talk you into video taping the next date!
|
Dayum......I got drunk and I missed it....(keeping with the musical theme).........:D

All the teasing was really great actually, sort of a boost, and I think knowing everyone was out there rooting gave me an edge, so thanks everyone. I can say post-date that I suck in dating. If you get to me through work, coaching rowing, working on cars, cooking, my passions come through readily and they seem to make me attractive. Put me in a bar, forget it. Put me out on a date where we just sit and talk, forget it. Playing in the Children's Museum, canoe down the Charles for a picnic, anything active, that's where I shine. So very surprising things went so well last night. Concerning my political bent, we aren't all wusses like Kerry, and I find myself very conservative on a lot of issues. Here's a kicker: we did talk politics a little. I voted for Kerry because there was no one else, she did the same for Bush. We both would have voted for McCain if given the chance. there's something about that guy and honest integrity you can believe in. Not sure how far this will go, but I've finally met a woman that was smart, engaging, goal-oriented, self-aware, sexy, beautiful and loves BBQ as much as I do. Pretty rare occurence for me, maybe once a year. |
Very cool Shaun.
|
Politics, schmolotics!! You gotta talk cars with her, man!! What's her viewpoint on Porsches? Does she follow the "Porcupine" mindset or is she cool with them?
Oh, and how did this outing stack up against the "Master Buffeter" encounter? :D Inquiring minds want to know!! |
Surf Pelican threads all night. Afterall, she IS a Porsche lover isn't she?
