Don't let her go. They are few and far between. And she probably thinks the same of you. good luck.
married 28 years and still in love with my bride. |
You're in Cambridge... there are two fun places I can think of right away... "Dali's" for tapas and "Cuchi Cuchi" for some real fun. http://www.cuchicuchi.cc/photos.html The bonus is that the waitresses dress like turn of the century harlots... cleavage up to their chins etc etc. Combine that w/ fun-n-fruity martini list, and that ought to loosen her up.
edit: damn, late post... |
Dave and Buster's might not be a good idea... unless you stick to the bar... what are you planning on doing- playing arcades? She'll think she's in high school.
Definitely not pool. Unless they are into it. Whenever I see a couple in a pool hall, the guy is trying to hide his laughter and frustration and the girl her boredom and embarassment. Nothing makes her feel more inadequate than missing the entire cue ball, and if you want to get into that let-me-get-close-behind-you-to-show-you-how-to-hold-it stance... there are better ways- like helping her uncork a bottle... |
Walking and talking in a small but nice art museum - dinner before or afterwards.
If she gets to in-depth and artsy-fartsy ... pass If she snickers and makes funny 'adult' jokes at the nudes ... she's a keeper! You now know how my first-date with my wife went (met her online too). |

Shaun,
Sounds like it was fun - good for you. Working on getting up north in March. I haven't forgotten about my debt, looking forward to it. Is kinda funny that a bunch of people spread accrss the country if not the globe were hanging on the edge waiting for a date update. Thats gotta make a guy feel good about his chances. |

That would be me!!!!!! SmileWavy Used to play in a pool league. Love pool. |
Used to be a great pool hall in Woburn (just outside of Boston) think it was called Mothers. Bikers from the Barons MC would hang out there. The rep of bikers is all wrong - I would rather me and my date be in a room full of 1%ers than a frat party. Guys in clubs have a certain honor code, treat therm like men, show respect all is cool, be a jackarse and you will get stomped. Frat boys are just stupid kids that don't know how to drink/drug.
