I fail to understand the gripe that people who don't believe in prayer have with people who pray. I'd think that praying would be a highly encouraged thing among you folks -- I mean, look at it this way: if I'm praying, I'm not out telling you how much God loves you, right?

Seriously, if you don't believe in God, what difference does it make to you if I pray?

I dunno - I guess we are just not as excited about jesus as you are and therefore don't share the same passion for automotive adornments of the sticker variety. The same way I think "Greddy", "Type-R" and "G-Tech" stickers are silly.

Now I'm going to run downstairs and peel off my "Deutschland Ueber Alles" sitcker.....

Clearing things up, I have no gripe with prayer.......do/done some of it myself. Choose to pray for those in need.

Just don't tell me the pres should be prayed for like he's the pope or something. This pres has a death fetish and couldn’t practice a Christian value if his life depended on it.

I'll pray that the fool is ousted out of office as soon as possible and his lame duck term peters out without further historic notoriety or folly.

Are you sure these people pray "for" him.....perhaps they are praying "to" him.

I think you're a bit confused about Christianity here kach22i, Christian prayer isn't limited to little Bobby Sue praying before bed for God to watch over Mom and Dad. The bible says you shouuld pray for your enemies, etc. I include Bush in my prayers with regularity....I pray for wisdom and strength. I don't supoprt his stance on several issues, and I didn't vote for him. However, that doesn't make him unworthy of my prayers.

I have a friend who isn't a Christian. He knows I am, but we don't think that the other is an idiot. Of course I think it is dangerous, but I don't pound on him about it. He knows. We're still able to go watch baseball and football games. It just seems to me that you guys wouldn't give anyone a chance if you knew they were a Christian. Frankly I don't care what you guys think about others, but it just seems a little narrow minded.

Well, denying Christ is basically blasphemy which is one of the unforgivable sins according to Luke. I would rather not play around with that one.

This is not a problem for those that think dont believe in Christ. Its really very liberating. Give it some thought.
