No thats a lynch mob.

If you want her to die your heart if fillled with evil.

If you want her to live your heart is filled good.

This is a litmus test to see who is good and who is evil.

She has do nothing to deserve to die this way.

It is evident that many people lack simple compassion for life.

Your hatred of her is seen by your words.

Standing up for the helpless is what good people with souls do.

Those who say let her die simply cant be trusted as the have no moral compass to do the right and just thing.

Life is not somrthing that you take lightly.

What if when SWBSAM was laying in the wreck that day and the group said he wont make to the hospital in time let him die.
Would you stand there and agree or would you get him out of the wreck and get him to the hospital even if he may die on the way?

Steve,

I believe in honoring Terri's wishes, period....

You need to look up 'megalomania' in the dictionary.......

URY914 03-25-2005 07:00 AM

Steve,

You seem to ignore the facts in the case. The women is dead now. She isn't coming back. She's check out.

So you think that no matter what the facts are she should remain in the condition for what reason?

This isn't "good vs. evil"
It is "the misinformed vs. the informed"

We had a really good debate going on here until you starting posting your BS. Think about how you killed this thread. I find that evil. SmileWavy

Since her wishes aren't known, it is murder to kill her.

Steve - I don't want her to Die and I imagine that there isn't anyone in favor of letting her die actually *WANTS* her to die.

Far from it - we want her to live the life she wanted to live but now her soul is simply imprisoned in a body. Why must you hold it hostage?

*disclaimer - I'm just being as over the top as steve is.

bryanthompson 03-25-2005 07:12 AM

Documented? When, where? After seven years of her being in this situation and her husband somehow remembering out of nowhere that she'd want to die?

Did she ever eat shellfish? Then she must be put to death, sorry, sez so in the bible...

Case closed!

Wow Thom. In one sentence you were able to show me the hypocrisy of my ways. I'm so glad there are people out there, with such deep understanding of the Bible, to clear things up for the rest of us.

Lev. 11:10

So why would you use the bible as justification for one action and not another?

OK. I'll play for a bit...
Quote:

Leviticus 11:10
But all creatures in the seas or streams that do not have fins and scales-whether among all the swarming things or among all the other living creatures in the water-you are to detest.
I don't see one thing about death here. I clearly see a rule, to the Israelites, in the time of Moses, not to eat shell fish.

Leviticus was the governmental law to the Jews.

The rules changes with Jesus. Many people need to ignore that this issue (the relationship between the Old & New) is dealt with and explained throughout the New Testament. Jesus was the fulfillment of the Old Testament. If you look at part of the story, you get part of the answer...

And look, I'm talking specifically about the Bible here. "Mans" bastardization of the Bible in the name of "religion" is a much different topic - of which my views may surprise you.

Unfortunately, I think the two are becoming synonomous.

Trust Steve.

God speaks directly to him. He knows.
