anybody watching
the adam carolla project? pretty good tv. i was never a fan of him, even ragged him here previously for riding kimmle's coattails. but that show is pretty funny. it's on TLC on tuesday nights. last night they went to his "garage" in LA and it was painted in the gulf porsche color scheme. did not say gulf or porsche but it was apparent.
pretty dam funny, his wife has some big ol cans, the gay assistant is a card, and i worked with a carpenter years ago that never wore shoes either. discuss. |

He comes across as a real person on the show, not a plastic Hollywood type. It's apparent that his wise-cracking never stops ("When someone shows up with a clipboard, smoking a cigar, it always means they are going to tell you how your project is going to cost more money and take more time").
His wife also seems very real, and not like some sort of celebrity hanger-on. Maybe his years of doing real work have tempered him. I'm sure things will eventually go to his head and in 10-15 years we will be talking about how much funnier the old, still married Adam Corolla was...

actually we will be sitting around talking about how funny he used to be before he took over the west coast Stern radio show, oh after the divorce of course... Adam's co hosting LOVE LINE is just about the funniest thing on the radio. it is the only shining star when i get stuck on nightwork. i absolutely love it. i got an entire freeway striping crew addicted and they all listened. havent seen the new show yet, but i hope to. i just missed the premier.
