Yeah, I figured that - you post as some wacky times

Haha, I'm 7-8 hours, plus I end up adding to that if I'm riding my (pedal) bike lots. Usually 11 something 'till 7am. Sometimes its way less (once a week), occasionally its more. I would bet I actually go relatively close to 8 hrs average...

Less than that and I get tired and life sucks. Periodically, I have to work later/harder and it builds up... I'm guessing that a few of you guys have probably forgotten what it feels like to have slept well for a few nights on the trot.

Oh yeah, I (clearly) don't have kids, and make a point of not working too hard (unless I gotta). Sleep is my friend.

I must have an average of 8 hours. I cannot function at 100% with less sleep.

Hit the sack in time to watch as much of Leno as possible, usually around 10:30. Wake up at 05:30 almost every day. Weekends the same, have too much to do.

My boss is awake until 0100 then back up and working at 04:30 or so. Thats why he is a billionaire and I am not...

I'm the same way, unfortunately I haven't been getting that much sleep since college. I get 6-7 hours a night, sometimes less, which is not enough. I tend to sleep 10-12 hours on weekends.

I think the root of my problem is that I am not a morning person. If left to my own devices, I would get up between 9am and noon, and fall asleep between 1am and 4am. Unfortunatly, my work schedule has me getting up at 6:00am (allegedly) and going to bed at 10:00 (which I never do). I think there are literally 2-3 workdays a month where I have had enough sleep.
