My buddy had one of the 84 Hurst Olds and he traded it in one day for a 85-86 Vette. I wish I would have bought it as they only gave him $4,500 trade in for it.

I like the "new" Grand National. I wanted one in the worst way when they came out. I won't buy one if they do go through with it, though. For what they are going to want, I can get a nice 993 and throw some goodies on it. I'm not saying that just because this is a Porsche forum. I can get the family discount on all GM products but Ihave lost any desire to own a GM product. With that said, I am a supplier to them and alot of this bad feeling comes from dealing with the UAW. (Check out Lubemaster 77's thread.) In seeing what goes on in most of the plants, I think that change at GM is needed from both fronts before they can move forward in today's economy. I drove a GTO last year and was not impressed. Sure, it was quick but it had the same lackluster "feeling" of their other vehicles. That's why I still have the SC!
