Having slight problem with ebay
I was trying to put my car up on ebay, but it keeps saying my vin number is not valid. My 944 is a grey market car, starting with WP0ZZZ instead of WP0AA. Is there anything I can do about this? I really need to sell this thing but its an obstacle everywhere I go.

Sounds like you're toast if a site requires a VIN, unless you contact them and they can override the problem.
I've had great luck with www.craigslist.org and you don't have to worry about the VIN. The local newspaper should work, too. I'd disclose the car's grey market up front in the craigslist ad and over the phone on a newspaper ad. That is relevant to the value. You don't need to put the VIN in here on Pelican, do you?

Search a couple car ads on ebay; unless it's a brand new feature, I've seen "blank" VINs used and always wondered why they list the correct in the text.
As I recall they use a string of Xs and zeros |
