Question ** So you like Porsches....what are your OTHER passions?? **

I collect rare license plates...yup...pre-1940 Washington States, home made plates pre-1916, and ultra-rare current issues.

Your other hobbies/passions?

Early Colt automatics, vintage guitars and basses. Goofy neon signs (no beer) Of course playing bass with the boys..but that is what I Do. It's still a passion even after 40 years of playing. God am I THAT old?

Oh lord, where to start?

0) My lovely wife (hi honey )
1) Japanese sword arts (specifically, iaido)
2) Japanese swords in general (though I'm mostly interested in "user" type blades as opposed to "collector" type)--I do some koshiraeshsi (sword fittings making) occasionally.
3) My Shovelhead bobber (still in progress) and other scoots
4) Guitar and piano playing (love my Taylor 12-string)
5) Linux
6) Movies
7) "Golden Age" sci fi novels
8) Furniture making (bookshelves etc.)

My wife complains I have both the "collector's gene" and too many hobbies...I think she might be right.

I collect milsurp rifles, particularly WWII. My collection isn't very big right now, but it is expanding. I hold a C&R license from the BATFE. I also participate in a few shooting disciplines (though not much lately because of the Porsche!)

I do some

IDPA
Defensive (tactical) Carbine
High Power Rifle
Black Powder Cartridge Silhouette

BlueSky, I'd love to have done some Kenjutsu and Iaido, but there are no teachers here. The closest are down in San Antonio.

My quest, my mission, my single minded focus in life is to singlehandedly rid the world of Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey....

I must do this by assimilating the substance within my body and expelling it as a harmless compound back into the bowels of the earth from which it came.....

I'm doing it as we speak......
