Uhhh...this one here is very good.

Your sig says you have a 911, so are you looking for an FAQ on these cars? There's an excellent FAQ sheet, if you want:
http://www.connact.com/~kgross/FAQ/944faq.html

Clark's Garage is great if you only want 944/51 info, and tend to stay away from things like OT. I'm not knocking it at all though, it's a very resourceful site with great people and info. Also has the Garage Shop Manual, which is very helpful and accurate. All 944 guys, even those with a factory manual, will use it at some point.

Rennlist is another very good forum, but full membership is $18 (I think). Some will look down on you if you post too much there without paying.

All 3 sites are useful and frequented by guys who know these cars.

Why? Save your money and and go early 911...too many indiosyncracies with the 944 series.

Not the typical definition of early, but his '74 is pretty close. As a former "early" 911 owner, I can say they have their fair share of idiosyncracies as well. I love Pelican, but Rennlist gets way more action on the 944 side of things.

Pelican's own 944 forums are decent.

Try Rennlist as well -- there is more traffic there, but also more chit-chat that you need to weed through to get to the meat and potatoes 944 stuff.

I must be one of the minority 944 owners that never have problems with the car. When I bought it, I had the bad oil cooler seals, but once fixed correctly, has been flawless. Mine is an '83, first year, without the PITA power steering, power latch on the hatch, and power sunroof.

All are maunal, and work pefectly.
