Anyone going to the ALMS race at Laguna in Oct.?
I'm thinking about flying out for the race - Porsche should have their new prototype there. Any recommendations as to where to stay? Also, are there other races on Friday and Saturday, like Speed GT races or GT3 Cup races?

No, but I went to the ALMS series at Lime Rock this week. Great racing, even though the Porsche prototype wasn't out yet.
