Working the PorK Chops Part 2

Yep ole DTW and I had a second outing today...at the Mandlaly Bay .....sat down and played some Poker Texas Style...DTW for a Tenderfoot did real well....he held his water....and only played the cards where he had a good chance of winning..all though he finished down for the session...it wasn't from a lack of judgment but the cards just weren't falling his way... if he had sat longer he woulda finished up for the session...CAn the World Series of Poker be far off for this WUNDERKIND....

We can now crown a new Champion Buffeter....today he out chewed me right into the ground....I just couldn't keep up with his healthy appetite...today it was he who finsihed 5 whole deserts and was rarin for more while I was only able to finish off 3...and that was after he told me he wasn't very hungry as he had a hugh Mexican food lunch comprising of 3 Tacos, a Burrito, a Chile Relleno and a coupla Enchiladas all washed down with a Pitcher of Beer...our DTW has a garguantuan appetite...LONG LIVE THE NEW KING OF THE BUFFET......

Tabs,
That's where you made your mistake, dtw is the king of mexican, he knows almost every mexican place in the state and eats it like it's going out of style. I'm sure it has nothing to do with his mexican wife

I married a Mexican woman so I could bring the food in-house, I would eat Mexican food every day if I could.

Tabs made a good showing at the buffet, but made a fatal error by getting a big plate of pasta. A rookie mistake and he paid the price. I was surprised at my own showing though, as the night before I ate at Smith & Wollensky and polished off a 28 oz prime rib (don't skimp on the horseradish and you can power through it, also it helps to keep the wine coming), and they courteously FedExed the bone home to my dog at no additional charge. Then of course the next day for a late lunch of piles of Mexican, ah the expense account is a beautiful thing people. After blowing several thousand of my daughter's college fund on sports books and table games, the casino has comped me an additional seat on the flight home so my ass has plenty of room, too.

Sorry for not mentioning my Mexican fixation earlier, but I am still around tonight...

I know I will have died and gone to heaven, when I find a Mexican buffet that is as good as the buffet at the Bellagio. Of all places, I managed to run across a good Mexican buffet in Wilson, North Carolina. The food was the real deal, which can be hard to find, but it was an hour away from my house, the offerings very limited, the presentation humble.

Prospective Vegas buffeters: Steer clear of the Mandalay Bay buffet. It's great, but for $3 more you can go to the Bellagio and get outstanding.
