Anyone use a resume service to complete resume?
I have had it with my boss, and a transfer isn't in the cards for several months, so I want to see what is out in the market.

Most of the people I know who have changed jobs recently have had their resumes "tweaked" by headhunters or contracting firms. Seems there are new formats, etc... that the hiring companies like to see.

![]() Writing a resume is something that you should do yourself, it is a good exercise to reflect on your career and your goals. But have at least 3 peopel critique and edit the darn thing. alf

Plenty of good books on the subject - most can be found at the public library. The trick is to get you hands on a few from people who you know who have great jobs. See what theirs looks like. I would send you a copy of mine but I have been with my current job for over 6 yrs and (stupidly) have not warmed up a new one.
