Tech, I appreciate the suggestion but the price is more than we want unless you know where I can get the one I want for ~$20k.

=-) Plus, the gas mileage on that car isn't what we want.

Sorry; I jumped to the end of the thread... Did you look at Mazda? They have a bitty sportback, too.

BTW, My A3 was about $24K, stripped.

Rented a Vibe once, didn't care for the seats on a long ride. It had a 110V power inverter in the dash, which I liked. Wouldn't run on overdrive with the 110v power source running, immediately took off overdrive. Otherwise OK.

Tech, I LOVE the mazdas more or less but they just don't get the mileage we want. Plus, the 3 is too small and the 6 doesn't come in hatchback which is what we want.

Not that EPA estimates are worth a damn...

EDIT: The Mazda 6 does come in a wagon.
