Oh boy this is great..
First off its a shame your expectations (ie a hot Florida chicky) is being superimposed on a UK (and London at that) person. I think you are making it worse for yourself....if you can see thor that then you'll be able to work it out.. if not then move on. As Agatha Chrisite once said.. the best husband you can have is an archaeologist... as you get older they get more interested. So what's the real priority... somebody you can have a good time with over the most trivial thing... who will become part of your life.. and who you think is pretty attractive and interesting.. or a 'trophy' that others will admired and envy but who will be an ornament and only share a bit (the sack) of your life....? Ideally you'd have the most glamourous hottie who is the most intelligent and caring person on earth who admires and respects you... but all things being equal we gotta find a real person. I went from living with a fanastic young lady, the picture perfect young mom... fit, sexy and rich, to a much plainer lady with none of the 'kerb appeal' but a character to die for and an approach to life to aspire to.... now I know which works in the long run and which allows me to be part of a better partnership... |

I'm looking for a supermodel / gymnast / nympho. Applications being accepted now. There are some good rental units out there, but I've seen nothing I want to buy yet. In the meantime, I like the ambiance of my house when I'm the only one there.

Man, you are WAAAAAAY too emotional period. That's just my opinion, and I'll admit I am borderline emotionless (by design) but the drama is pathetic.

There's nothing wrong with the sex appeal at all... if it ain't there its not going to happen... but reading between the lines of your posts....very dangerous I know it sounds like you like the mind.. but not the bod...'cos its not what you expected....so there's a bit of confusion here... Like the mind.. it gets you going. but the bod's not a good as you wanted... So two ways forward... review your priorities...or go with them and cut loose....and know that you are losing somebody you like... As for her insecurities I'm guessing she has an incling that her physique does not match yor expectations.. and boy that's gonna give her a hard time.. she obviously likes you but if you are not sure she's gonig to back off pretty quickly, afterall who wants to get hurt worses than you have to in that department.. Its tough, very tough... but its has to go one way or another... and sometimes the brains are a longer term thing than a great bod... just my 2p's worth... |

Yes I have seen the movie. UPDATE. My girlfriend and I laid all our cards on the table....and since we've cleared the air things have been INCREDIBLE. The advantage of dating someone close in the area is that you get to either like or dislike their little 'nuances' or whatever pretty quickly or slowly. Usually the latter. People can take months to admit to themselves they don't like a person or.......do. We've established our relationship by getting to the meat of things, and asking the important questionS, as well as just 'talking' and 'listening' to one another. - a lost art in people my age I think. Regardless-after K revealed that she was dissappointed a little bit about the fact that I'm not as 'large' as the guys she normally dates- I'm 5'11" 190lbs-built, but not like Pro body builder-not that big....but apparently she's dated a few guys who are like 6' to 6'3" and built like Rugby players....she mentioned on more then a few occasions about a 2 particular pictures that she liked of me, but IMO were'nt the true representation of what I looked like on daily basis. But she mentioned them and it finally hit me that I think she thought I was more like "those" pictures. Anyways......the short of the long of it is...... we fell deep in love with eachother, but didn't have the advantage of seeing eachother as often. She just spent 12 days with me, and though the first four days were diffiucult.....once we were 100% open and honest, I can honestly say....that we just had the most incredible time with eachother. I'm completely adore her. And I'm extremely happy that things turned out like they did. Thanks to all for all your advice! Good/bad and funny!!
