I can only give you three bits of wisdom when it comes to this *****:
1) Have fun and respect her
2) Don't take anything to seriously - be cool, let it roll off your back
3) Stay single until you want kids, then choose wisely

Paul, I cannot imagine having control over who you fall in love with. It just happens. Sometimes it happens even when you're not noticing that it's happening, and sometimes it's even too late when you figure it out. No Paul, love is not a rational decision.

Good to hear from you, though.

I had similar doubts 30 years ago before I married my wife. I am glad that I did not screw it up like you are going to do by being so critical. Everyone has doubts..and the older you are and longer you wait to get married....the worse it gets. If this woman is as great as you claim...you are a moron for critiquing her physique....I cannot believe she has not told you to piss off. She must really care for you. She can always work out...but stupid vanity cannot be fixed easily.
Yes, you watch far too much porn. It is not reality and gives far too unrealistic expectations. How many women do you see in porn that are not products of extensive surgery, etc?...and are looks everything?
By the way, most of the bikini-model types look like hell at 50 due to the hard living and sun. Many put on 20 pounds the first couple of years after they get married (why diet once married?)After two kids my wife still doesn't have a six-pack, but she looks great..and only like she is about 25 (at least to me)....and that is pretty hot to an old guy like me.

Hey I'll have you know the girls I look at are natural big boobed girls....no silicone there I assure you........

You can't believe she's not told me to piss off b/c I treat her with all the respect in the world, I adore her, and Love her. You're right, I am being a moron. I aggree. I f*cking hate that I even have this in my brain.

But what do you expect? I've dated girls with hard bodies-more or less- gorgeous boobs and legs and feet......But not a damn thing going on up stairs............it's hard to break patterns.........and like I said......I for one won't regret having asked for peoples opinions. Infact, most of the human race is so egotistical that they DON'T ask for help or direction. They BELIEVE they have the right answer.

My Mantra: Think about what you believe, don't always believe what you think.

And thus exactly why I'm asking complete, unbaised strangers......for opinions. I respect people who have been in my shoes, or at least experienced it, and really truely do heed their advice.

I'm trying to be the best person I can.......and try to avoid any unneccessary BS.

It is all about competition. We want to be the smartest, strongest, richest.....the fastest car, or the hottest girl. When we are in high school, it is about being the star football player, the most popular, the homecoming king/queen..etc. Whe you get older, all those things were cool toi have been/one, but matter little. Pick the person you want to grow old with, raise a family with ..not the one your buddies would pick for you.

Down the road, its all about the conversation. Looks will fade, but will you still like talking to her?

Yeah, I agree with mikester and b d. Sorry dude. You're 32 and dragging this on way too long. Keep f'ing her and see what happens, or dump her ass. Simple as that, Romeo. Good luck.

Yep, in the end you only have each other, and looks ain't everything. Can she bait a hook? Does she hunt? Can she clean fish? Does she own a trolling motor? Now those are the important things in life!

I agree to a certain extent, but I do have control over who not to fall in love with, I run. I didn't fall in love at first sight with my wife, but I was physically attracted to her. Our love for each other was earned, we were both very guarded people. At any point in our first year, one of us could have walked away without crushing the other. Now, I can't imagine life without her & I'm sure she feels the same.

Chris,

The old saw about choosing the person you would like to get old with....comes close, but no cigar.

As someone with a multitude of experience in the subject of matrimony (3), I suggest looking for someone you'd feel comfortable dying with. One reason for my last failed marriage was that I just didn't feel comfortable with the idea that she would be at my deathbed. I envisioned that I'd be there, all laid out, ready for the grim reaper to appear, and she'd say or do something so stupid or pretentious and just mess it all up. How embarrassing would that be? Anyway, couldn't stand the thought of it, so I left the *****.

Well, that's a cheery point of view now isn't it?
Death I'm not concerned with having missed it a couple of times. But I would feel honored to have her by my side on my death bed.

I'm slowing down a bit, and just taking it all in. And just appreciate her.....and go from there.

Thanks for all your input and revelations. I really appreciate it.
