limited number of possible answers. they all have the same symbol. each time you 'try again' they have a new symbol, but are all the same.
also note that other numbers that are not possible will have the same symbol as the possible numbers to mix things up a bit. -bernie

Every possible answer is a multiple of 9. Look at the chart, all the multiples of 9 share the same symbol. (9, 18, 27,36,45...)
When you click "try again", the symbols change, but once again all the multiples of 9 share a common symbol.
