Nagin has got to be high
How can he believe that 180,000 people can return to NO so soon? Does he share a pipe with Marion Berry?

Nagin is out of his damn mind, and it's clear from his "plan" that he hasn't even talked to the people in charge. I think he's just making big claims, trying to do a little damage control of his own.

Yeah, just like when he was running around screaming that 10,000 citizens were dead because there was no federal support. He sure knows how to beat his chest and get a lot of attention. Works for a lot of dems.

I haven't been impressed at all with Nagin. This is from someone who (usually) votes Democratic. I mean, whether one is Democratic or Republican, I think it is clear that he didn't do a good job dealing with Katrina. I grant that Katrina was bigger than the local government could hope to deal with alone, but he didn't even do as much as he could have.
