Anyone in or near Acapulco
I realize there is probably still no comms, and you have bigger issues than logging into Pelican but my brother-in-law was in Acapulco and we are hoping for the best.
He and another brother-in-law are going to the F1 race this weekend. That storm hit hard and fast and all the predictions were way off… I hope everyone is OK

Yeah, that turned out to be an intense storm. I was further up the coast at Sayulita when Hurricane Lidia came in a few weeks ago. Lost power and internet for a day or so. Oh, the horror. Could not use credit card to buy cerveza, had to use pesos. Sounds like Acapulco has it much worse. They had eveything in Sayulita back to normal in a few days.

Wait, a hurricane caught them by surprise? Predicting the weather is the one profession you can be totally wrong 75% of the time and still claim to be accurate.
