Pilsner Urquell, or anchor steam
|
I'm not generally fond of yellow beer. Maybe on a hot day if the beer is really cold.
|
The colder, the better.

I can handle a couple of these ridiculous microbrews but you're full like you ate 24 oz steak from Morton's afterwards.
There is no way I would reach for a Long Trail or whatever after mowing the lawn. I want cold and crisp. NARRAGANSETT - It's back! I know the guy who bought the rights to it from Pabst. New red/white cans, better flavor, now brewed in NY at the same facility as Sam Adams. If you are a RI or Mass native, surely you've ha a Gansett in the past. Be sure to pick up a 6 pack ASAP. :) |
Plain old simple Guiness Stout from the tap please...

Nowadays I'll take a Yuengling or a plain old MGD |
Three way tie!!

Rather than the fru/fru breweries that have popped-up all over, some good beers are:(1)Yoengling, from Pottstown,Pa., the nations oldest brewery,I believe they say, or(2)good-old Iron City, from Pittsburgh,Pa:or(3)Rolling Rock, from somewhere,Pa.;or lastly,(4)LaBatts Blue Pilsner. All theabove are larger scale refineries with tasteful beers, unlike most American beers which have turned into watered-down tasteless brews to appease the masses.Just my$.02.

Yuengling is great...I used to date a girl whose family lived between pittsburgh and cleveland...Quaker Steak and Lube for Wings and Yuengling on draft.
**** I miss the wings n beer + her dad's badass vintage dirt bike collection more than I could ever miss her. |
My favorite beer is "cold" followed closely by "free" but when they are combined to make a "free cold beer", now that is truly heaven!!http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat6.gif

Nein 11,
piece of useless trivia for you. The red triangle used by Bass Brewing was the first registered trade mark in England. Cheers, Paul. |

Olde Frothingslosh.........mmmmm
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1127531019.jpg Just kidding, although I did have a can for a while. I'll take mine in a medium dark color lighter than motor oil and darker than the regular stuff. Cold is a must. A frosty mug is even better. |
