Orbital Sander
Anyone here ever use an electric Orbital Sander for fiberglass work? I know a DA Sander is best but I don't have an air compressor.

Yes, Porter Cable # 7336:
 It's basically an electric DA and uses standard 6" stick-on paper. I use mine all around the shop and garage, great tool with plenty of guts; ~$110-120, most Lowes stock them. There's also a polisher specific version available thru Eastwood, but I just use a Meguire's foam pad in place of the sanding pad. |
