Yesterday I got a letter from the Office of the Governor of my wonderful State along with a $165.00 check.

Long story short, due to the strong economy the State had a 2004 tax revenue surplus of $300 million and they have decided to refund the money to the taxpayers via the DMV registrations, one check will be received for each car registered in 2004.

Thanks to all of you who put a few pennies here and there while visiting or went to see 'O'. The money will be put to good use (trying to decide between donating to the School District or to go to the Bellagio buffet ) and kudos to the Governor.
