what kind of man ruffs up a woman? this question is a tricky one... because no MAN i know would ever lay a finger on a woman in anger....

i get a call from my recent ex-girlfriend who's attending western Washington university...

shes in tears...

apparently some Idiot (who i have met before and told her i didn't like) was drunk off his ass....

this is one of those "tuff guys" ,he has a history of abusive language directed at her..

he was angry because she had snuffed all his recent attempts at her...(you know... real class act attempts... like grabbing her ass and trying to get her to sit on his lap ext)

he attempted to hug her... shes says no and pushes him away...

he gets angry and grabs her head in a headlock and tryes to force a kiss... shes choking and he trys forcing a kiss... she cant breath hes hurting her...

What kind of man is this guy?

she kicks him and pushes him away...she leaves for the safety of a friends house...

i know he didn't "strike" her... but what the hell!?

i told her that she did nothing wrong and to disassociate with him in every way.. go buy some mace... and make sure to tell everyone that this guy has a history of this behavior...

im heading back up to Washington from AZ to get my car on Wednesday... i hope i see the guy... i hope he starts something... i hope i have my black-jack on me...

shes 5'7 120lbs... hes like 6'0 185lbs...

i wish i was 6'3 220lbs about right now...

nope, she was stopped a ways down the road because they were leaving a party(to check if they were sober) she made no mention of this.

im encouraging her to get the word out that this guys a woman hater..

i only got the story over the phone, so i don't know if my account is accurate or not

This guy has serious behavioral issues. With this girl, its a case of assault. She should report it. Maybe he will get help and somebody else's daughter will not have to prove "No" means No.
(I've got a 16 year old daughter. Does it show?)

She needs to report it. If she doesn't report it this time, she won't report it next time, with the next guy, or the guy after that, or the guy after that. NO man should ever hit a woman for any reason, but most women are too afraid to do something about it. If she lets this slide, she's beginning a horrible cycle.

Sounds to me like the ex is looking to update her status to current IMHO. I don't know either of you or the situation, but the only time I have seen a similar situation (many times) where the ex-beau is called (long distance) for sympathy, the circumstances were slightly exaggerated (maybe subconsciously, maybe not) and the ex-girlfriend was really lonely (maybe subconsciously, maybe not) for her old boyfriend. What guy cannot resist riding in on the white horse to save the day? What girl can resist sic white knight? If you go cross-country to console (save) her, plan on starting over IMHO. Good luck

Why did she hook up with this guy in the first place? And why did she stay when it became obvious that he uses demeaning language?

This guy has the poential for being dangerous, especially when drunk. She should really stay clear of him. She she make it known that she is doing so for her own safety, that he is nothing but trouble.

Nobody can stand up for you, unless your a child. You have to stand up for yourself, and not be passive. You can garner support for your position, but ultimately it is up to you to take action.

Neither are long 1/2" drive breaker bars...the best lug wrench you can carry is one with the right sized extension and socket. It's always wise to keep your emergency tools within reach..

The girl needs to report this to the authorities right away. Guys like you describe will continue on this path if not confronted. even then it is sometimes too late. Then this girl needs to remove herself from situations and enviorments that invite this type of krap.
I live near a local university and I can tell you that with out question this is occuring all the time. The local police have done a better job of cracking down on such cases and I would say 90% of the girls here are smart enough not to get into a situation like you describe. Some are not. I still dont get why a woman would jog by herself with headphones on at 11:30pm in badly lit places. It just boggles the mind. I know this is not what happened to your friend, but just an example of some one not using commen sense.
