In context, Dean is saying he would break up "giant media enterprises", of which one is Fox. This is the relevant statement:

"11 companies in this country control 90 percent of what ordinary people are able to read and watch on their television. That`s wrong. We need to have a wide variety of opinions in every community."

He appears to believe that size, power and access to capital should not be the deciding factors of public opinion. I find it extremely ironic that you believe the liberal media (which is most likely 10 out of the 11 companies referred to) is twisting public opinion (essentially agreeing with Dean), but you crucify his method of dealing for the sole purpose of disingenuously making it appear he was solely attacking Fox.
