I would Joe, but the 993 doesn't have a class III hitch!

I never liked Wayne anyway.

:P

Ok, the wife and I are definately going. I arrive via 993 on Thurday and am staying at the Palace Station Hotel (cheapest three star I could find) my wife flies in from Sacramento that evening.

Ok, people we're committed. Is there an itinerary of events floating around?

I wish we could get Wayne to post a sticky in the main tech forum to get more exposure.

Agree and this just cut the number of people from Cali by a large number. Not the best decision IMHO as many of us would have liked to come to the Pelican party and see the 917 stuff as well.

It kinda screws everyone. Wonder if anyone told Redman that we had plans that weekend? Bring him to Vegas. I would pay one night for a room for him!

Oh well, not like there's a shortage of entertainment.

Either way, for some of us the plans are concrete. I intend on making the most of it.

It's Vegas!

OK, I have put some kind of 'agenda' for the event, just to try to 'organize' things and start a civilized discussion on what to do:

Saturday at 10 AM greet and meet at some Starbucks near the Strip, then nice drive up to Mount Charleston for lunch. Free afternoon. Meet for dinner somewhere off-Strip.

Sunday morning caravan to either Lake Mead or Lake Las Vegas for photo ops

This weekend I'm going to the races to the Pahrump track, I will ask them for conditions, $$'s, requirements, etc, to get the track for half a day or so. Is a long shot but you never know.

Other ideas are always welcome.

PS. If anybody is flying into Las Vegas, please let me know if you need my 'taxi' service

Sweet jesus, Jordi. That's one hell of a taxi.

I will get into town on Thursday afternoon (weather permitting).
I pick up the wife at the airport (which I have no idea how to find) that evening. Friday morning meet sounds great and I'm relieved to see an itinerary come together. Could you post the address of the starbucks so those that are driving can MapQuest it?

I'm looking forward to this. This event will be the first PP event I have actually been able to attend in the five + years I've spent on this board.

Superman, I hope you can make it too!

Who's driving the P-cars???

Wow...OK...that swings me...I'm coming - current Porsche or not....are you really offering?! I'm planning to arrive Thursday and would really appreciate being able to avoid the usual taxi rip-offs, especially with the obvious 'I'm not from around here' accent...

So are people meeting on Thursday night too?

Still haven't managed to sort out my DC driving license yet - if there's any racing planned does anyone know if a UK license would work (if I promise to drive on the right)?

The special pass-phrase that allows you access is:

"LubeMaster Sent Me - I am Broken, and I am Poor but I am Here"

That phrase will work 7 out of 10 times in Vegas but only 4 out of every 20 times anyplace else but Landover MD where it seems to work 37 times out of 50 (for some strange reason).
