No, Mandalay Bay is right on the strip. Here's a map view of the hotels on the strip. You'd definitely have to take a cab or get a ride. You wouldn't want to hoof it to Las Vegas Blvd.

I'd offer you a ride Cool, but my fine vehicle will probably be a cab!

Just out of curiosity, who's taking their cars?? I'm still debating on driving from the East coast. It's not the best time of year to pass through the midwest!

You drivers may want to break south at Chicago and run the southern route. You can pop on and off Rt 66 most of the way there.
I'll probably be out there, hanging on the eastside. Over by Eastern and Sahara for the locals.

I want to be there. Not sure if the wife will be with me. She's going to Mexico the week before.
Either way, 1 room.

I want to go so bad. I'm keeping a close eye on our deployment taskings. I may be getting hit for a two week job in March so I'll just have to wait and see.

Save me a room just in case!

Just bring the money, we could care less which car or how you get there. Fint and I need more money for dinner and booze and your check will do nicely!

Just how lonely are you to bait me on multiple threads? Box of Kleenex handy I'm guessing?

Send a check to Mike, who, uhhh, has my money.

Thanks.

Tabs - can you reserve 50 rooms at the Bay for some wayward pelicans? If not, I will place the call.

Shaun - the check is safe and secure. Still unclear as to why I have it but no matter.

Is it really that big of a deal to get a room in Vegas? Or do you guys just want to all be together? I am 50/50 on going, but I'll just grab a room last minute if I can go. If past trips hint atanything it's that you're never in your room anyway.

Ok luber, these are the current rates for Mandalay Bay:

Thurs: 179.95
Friday 249.95
Saturday 289.95

We probably should've booked it long ago or something...appears the rates went up.

We need to make a final decision this week. If others want to stay somewhere else, so be it. But a final decision probably needs to be made ASAP.
