Imagine..$500 to go to Vegas...I'm here already! Talk about a sucker bet!
Why all the talk? Just show up as agreed. All this baiting is really tiring.

I don't understand your question Len in the context of my response to Fintstone. To answer your question quickly, yes, I started the thread. The thread asks for input on a non-profit to which Joeaksa should write the check out to when I win the bet.

Please help me here.

And Flint was informing you that you need not concern yourself with the question as the answer won't be required. Constructive reply I'd say

Len, thank you very much for clarifying Fintstone's intent; whatever would I do without you? Your sincere concern is duly noted and a Christmas card is in the mail. Merry Christmas man!

Dont you just love it when someone waltz's into the kitchen, turns on the oven and then tells you that its his heat and he does not understand what is going on?

Now if we were pushing a certain model of young ladies clothing bet that any number of posts would be welcome!

Shaun, you started this thread and asked for input. If you cannot stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen!

Is there an emoticon with a motor-mouth or something? Do you type/talk just for the hell of it? You talk more than any woman I've ever known and say half as much.

Let's try to stay on topic. Either suggest a non-profit that you can write a check to or go find another thread to post on. Stay on topic.

Thanks

I would be happy to help. Thanks for asking. I guess the real question is: "why is there always another scam with you?" If you want to start a thread about which charity you should donate $500 to...You should actually be donating it...not some wistful "if I had Joe's $500, where should I donate it?" That is some perverted, liberal wacko world where you make a charity donation "if you can get someone else's money to do it," yet try to somehow make yourself look generous. Heck, if I win the NY Lottery, I will make a donation too....LOL!!
If you want to donate $500 to a nonprofit...do so. If you want to pretend, put on some of your G9 stuff and play with your dolls.

Remember that CC was trying to talk G9 into giving him the silver 911 so there may be something going on there. One never knows...

Can we imagine what life would be like with G9 as a moderator? It would be grand I bet!

Fint,
I was informed today that I will be gett'n the check in the mail - I know just the charity! A little thing I like to call a Roth IRA, in about 12 years it will pay for a few textbooks!

Read my first post.. I asked for input. Then I said: "If you have a good nonprofit that you would like added to the list, please let me know."

While Habitat for Humanity has received the most votes, 5 more emails have been cast for Make A Wish, both worthy charities.

Surely you don't think Winter Soldier is a better charity than Make A Wish?

Joe, please write the check to Make-A-Wish Foundation and send on to Mike.

Shaun,

I never agreed to send a check to Mike, that was your decision. I wanted to send it to a moderator and you not only did not even get back to me on that you simply made your own decision to use Mike H and did what you pleased. Please check your PM's to confirm this. I saved them after your last rant and rave to everyone.

You forget that its not your money just yet, so lets not get so hasty with what you want to do with it. It seems like your mind was made up before the voting was even complete. Several other people have put ideas on the board for who the funds should be sent to and for some reason their comments are being ignored. When this is taken care of then we can proceed. In fact I mentioned it earlier about putting them on the voting list and both you and the moderator ignored it, after the list was modified one time beforehand. Gosh, double standards again on the OT list! Where have I seen this before??

Also, if one charity has received the most votes, then why do you want the funds sent to another organization who received fewer votes? You put it up to a vote now are changing the rules. Where have I seen this before??

Joe A

Joe, once again:

First, I asked for input, nothing more. I didn't put it up to a vote that would decide on which group would receive the check. I asked for input. What part of my first post don't you understand?

Second, I get to decide on which charity meets the "good" standard.

Third, Make A Wish has 12 votes given email ballot casting.

More:
I like the NRA, but your goofy exchange with hunter negated getting that up, and, see 2. NRA is "good," but not as worthy. Please work on playing nice. Your constant attacks are tiresome.

Doctors without borders is an excellent choice, but with low voter turnout, didn't think worth getting up. And moderators aren't responsible for scanning poll threads and automatically putting up new choices. I asked Z-Man to get the first round up and he did so quite promptly (thanks again!), but again, with low voter turnout, I didn't want to waste his time.

then we have Len's Swiftvetsfortruth.org, which doesn't seem to exist.

Lastly, Winter Soldier does not pass the "good" test on any level. It's simply a nonprofit based on hate.

Getting moderators involved in our little spat isn't a good idea on any level. Mike founded and is organizing the event; he's clearly the best person. Is there any reason you wouldn't trust him?

Just
