i seen baby pigeons. nasty things.
funny story. a pigeon laid and hatched a solo egg in the back of my coworkers worktruck. he parked it in san fran, and drove to work in oakland. for one week, the mom would wait until the truck came back and then did her thing. the schedule was not favorable, because the baby died. ok, not so funny. i'll cruise chinatown and find the turkey egg.

Cliff,
If you can find a turkey egg in Chinatown, I'll drive up to the city and buy you a beer. I have a chef friend who's been wondering about this a lot. If I could bring him a turkey egg, he'd be ecstatic. Hopefully I can trade the egg for a lobe of fresh foie gras. / Johan

I see "hundred year old" Duck eggs at Ssian food stores....scary.
I have two flocks of Turkey wandering through my yard. Should I grab an egg?

that hundred year old egg looks worse than it taste. still on the nastier side of a regular egg. but i know folks that gross out on runny egg yolks. so it is all about the prespective. that duck fetus thing i have seen and i just couldnt do it. way past my comfort zone.
oh, the 100 year egg is actually cooked in a batch of herbs and leaves that are heated thru decomposition. i talk a big talk, but i cant really eat them.

dont be crazy, you dont want to piss off the neighbors. buy a compound bow! let them lead you to the nest first, then raid them for eggs, and then spear the buggers.
![]() i keep hoping and praying the peacocks show back up on WESTY's land, then i am gonna robin hood them. bet they taste like pheasant.
