I actually think Sheehan had the guts to take on an unpopular stance and stick to her beliefs in the face of incredible pressure. I give her credit for getting the issue of the war's legitimacy on the front page of newspapers. I give her credit for getting Americans to think about the war and whether its goals were worthwhile and achievable.

Good for her. It takes courage to do what she did. She was true to herself.

A threat with conditions is outlining repercussions for you doing something. Said action has to happen first.....

And I already admitted I was wrong about anyone's family being threatened.....
