You spelled two out of four words wrong, why should I listen to you?

Why are you asking?

Why does it matter?

Does it matter? Well yes, I guess it does matter to most people in civilized countries, otherwise why would they teach their kids to spell in school?

I grew up in the Midwest, not far from where Matt lives, and went to Nebraska often as well. Most of my friends still living there know how to spell or at least push the little blue button to check the post. Are you still in 4th grade and being held back? Kinda goes towards our trying to figure out what type of people we are trying to win over.

First guess we need to send the poster back to grade school to learn basic spelling and grammar again. Then back to vocational school to learn to hit the frigging "spell check" button on the computer screen.

If someone is so frigging thick that they cannot spell, most realize that the spell checker is their friend and use it. When they continue posting like this and do not care, why should we listen to them because its almost a lost cause.

If a person cannot spell or form a proper sentence then how in the world can they be expected to read to learn about what is going on in the world. They tend to listen to radio stations like "Air America" and "CBS," both of which are completely biased so there is no hope of this type of person ever learning the truth.

Howard Dean would be proud of this post, course not sure that I would ever want to associate with him...

I do fine when I want to. I didn’t think this post warranted a spell check. I didn’t think anyone would care. Had this been a serious post I would have taken the time to fix all the spelling. I also would have added a few sentences, maybe even a paragraph or two. But this is not a serious post.

Actually I listen to conservative talk radio. Rush, Glenn Beck, and the like.

And I would kick Dean in the freaking nuts if he got close enough.

There now you know some things about me. Joeaksa, lets hear some things about you.

Well, he looks a bit sorry in the picture. Regrets ? Remorse ?

BTW, without the spell check I would not be posting at all. You would not believe how many wrong spelled words pop up in the spell check window from just one sentence of mine. I regard this as a Porsche AND English language tutoring forum. Very comprehensive place indeed !

Joe, remember that time I had to correct your spelling? And I didn't lecture you on it!

In life, you should always consider the source when being told something. So when someone makes such a bold claim against the president of our country, but can't spell, it makes me quite prone to simply disregard everything written thereafter.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a partner. I got gonorrhea from a tractor.

Thank you guys for rescuing this thread. I was really hoping to see a tractor (instead of another whining "See the traitor!"), and you really came through!
Oh, Slakjaw. Language is about communication. Think about how you would be perceived by strangers if your speech were slurred and unclear. Many people live with such problems every day and would rather not. Take 5 seconds of your very valuable time and check to see if your message says what you think it does.
Thank you.

I would agree. Bush is a piece of heavy machinery that you use to get the hard work done.

Kach would prefer the Clinton version...a fast, awesome looking car that you can't haul jack with...

Clinton = Lamborghini

I can live with that.

Not sure what it means.
