Any self respecting surfer should know this but just in case you or someone you know that surfs is locked up in their pad with some killer Christmas bud...
There is a BIG swell moving into Cal. beach's today and tomorrow. The news is predicting a maximum twenty foot surf! When I got up this morning I could hear the waves and my neighborhood was full of mist... I know life is rough! Kawabunga dude!

Check the weather. Supposed to be 80 this weekend. What a miserable way to spend Christmas.

I was just down at HB and it was huge, no one could get out to surf the pier, can't remember the last time there wasn't a surfer.
The waves at the right angle, would shake the pier. Going back to Seal Beach, as things should peak at 2pm, it was a three ring circus, with all the media and folks. I love California! Michael

It's also 80 deg. and sunny, ~25 deg. above normal for December.

Anybody thinking about BBQ for Christmas?
It's going to be a balmy 40 here, and rain. . A shame it wouldn't be about 10 degrees colder.

Oh goodie... maybe we will get to see the ultra rich Malibu people crying on TV about losing their beach house, Poor babies will have to winter at the condo in Aspen or Maui.

Broke a board on Monday, not only was it just before the best swell of the season so far, but also great timing w/ the Clark fiasco.
I’ll just have to break in the new big wave fun board I guess! I’ll be out at Trestles/Churches twice a day, Friday thru Monday. Have fun and be safe out there!

I would have to whack a hole in the ice to surf. I am too depressed to get out the camera and post a pic of the sad state of our climate..
