Hitler's shotgun...if I had an extra $50,000, I'd gladly buy this for you...

Not many of those made, sure to go up in value.

On the other hand it should have been used to shoot him and the SS group, then melted down and sent to Hell...

My friend's father just recently told him he would let him buy his collection of German ww11 pistols. I was told it was an extensive collection of authentic guns. I'll try to take some pictures to post if he will let me. any idea of what some of these guns could be worth? I'm just curious.

supposedly a model of every one made from what I am told. there's a bunch of them. I'll try to get pictures. also included in the sale is a suitcase full of rare coins. The father just found out a few days ago he is eaten up with cancer and told my friend he would sell them on monthly payments. He probably won't make it more than a few months. I don't understand why he doesn't give them to his son or just will them to him, but that's the deal.

The Walther P-38 became the wartime standard issue German side arm...lets just restrict our speculation to jsut these...these pistols for many years have been a very affordable collectable firearm...$300-$500 with a few rare variations bringing quiet a bit more money. However interest has picked up in these guns as collectors move down the food chain to still affordable collectables..anyone check out the prices on WW2 GI 1911A1s lately? So now I would say the standard P-38 variations are from $575 to about $750 for good examples with those rarer ones bringing money money.

Then there is the issue of guns that have NAZI Party markings...those have always been expensive...from $1500 up.
