Question for Vash re: Sirius (or any other owners)

I know you have Sirius--I'm going out tomorrow to get it. What unit(s) did you buy? I want to be able to listen in my house and car, and my wife wants a portable unit to listen to at her job...did you install the antenna yourself?
Thanks, Christian

i got that boombox unit. the receiver snaps in and out and is easily moved to my truck. the antena in the truck i just ran under the weather striping and (it is magnetic) and stuck it to the roof near the third door. i took the home antenna and keep it near a window, and i dont have any issues.

new units are cooler than the one i have. some even work with headphones, like a walkman.

I don't have either so maybe I am talking out of my butt.

But I know that XM uses a smaller chip so their decives are smaller and more portable. Also if you want to, with either one, you can listen to them through your computer, or you could wire your computer to the stereo and listen to it through the stereo, but change channels with the CPU. Assuming you have high speed internet. Maybe you love Howard or have another reason for choosing Sirius, just giving you a heads up on some options that you have.
