Naw. Probably will not tell publicly because of all the questions that come their way. My former neighbor is CIA and didn't tell me until last year. Now, they are secretive about what they do. FBI not in the same secret league.

Wrong agency. I could tell you what agency has that rule for its employees, but then I'd have to kill you!

I have plenty of degrees, and I'm quite healty and fit....and competitive. But I have some, ummmm, background issues that might raise some eyebrows, to say the least. There's the black dress thing, for instance.

I came to this thread with the only intention to write that response. But I see someone took care of it already.

Very good read. You can get it at Amazon.com or B&N.
You mean the FBI "Hostage Roasting Team", don't you? Government serial killers.

Funny that this thread was revived. An accounting degree isn't required, but since I don't have a JD or fluency in a language besides English, I need 3 years of full time employment (post-college) before I can apply. I'm a youngun and I'm coming up on that pretty soon. I still think I'll apply but I'm taking sort of a fatalistic stance. If they want me, I'll jump through the hoops needed to get in. But if they don't, I'm not going to kill myself for privilege of taking a pay cut and wearing a black suit to work.

That is a tad disrespectful to those agents but you are entitled to your opinion.

They have a rather impressive record on almost everything besides scenarios that fell under Janet Reno's chain of command. Ruby Ridge and Waco were clearly ATF screwups that got the HRT tangled up in lose-lose situtations.

I was giving them the benefit of being human as it was. They should have been rounded up enmass and tried for mass murder, since that's what they perpetrated against the Branch Davidians at Mount Carmel, Texas.

What makes you think that?

Ruby Ridge was a BATFAE frame-up during the Bush I administration, that was hosed up by the US Marshals Service, killing Randy Weaver's 14 year old son. Then the FBI HRT took command and murdered Randy Weaver's wife. The killer was charged, but the federal government stepped in and took the case away from the state of Idaho and then dismissed the charges.

Outside Waco, TX at Mt. Carmel; the HRT tortured, then gassed, then burned alive the survivors, missing only those they couldn't shoot as they ran out of the burning building. The few survivors were imprisoned under a very unConstitutional set of federal laws on sentencing for crimes other than those for which defendants are actually convicted.

Those are the facts.

So no, I'm not disrespecting the FBI Hostage Rescue Team at all. They should be treated like the outlaws that they are.
