New Year's Resolutions

How are you guys doing with your new year's resolutions?

Years ago, I made a new year's resolution to never again make any more new year's resolutions. I've done very well at keeping that one, but this year I've set a goal for myself to drink more water than last year. I tend to drink only diuretics (coffee and beer), I smoke, I don't exercise, I'm old, I'm recently divorced, I work a stressful job, I don't get much sleep, I drive too fast, etc.....and I just thought that there might be some aspect of my lifestyle where a change toward better health could be considered. Water seemed like the low-hanging fruit. I also don't eat fruit.

But this has placed me in a bind. If I had left my resolution alone, from years ago, I'd be assured of success. Now, if I stop drinking water regularly, I might be back to a score of 0-for-325 on resolutions.

I need a beer.

I'd help, Paul. I think you know that. If you've got the parts, we could probably get it moving this weekend. No? I don't know what you're doing or what the problem is. We're here to help solve problems.
