I suggest that we drop one nuke on the middle east city of your choice for every terror attack on the US. Based on the rabid Jap response to our bombing of Hershoma we should end this terror war after only two bombs.

If that dosen't end the war, then a few more bombs will, ie no one left to fight. Might makes right.

Call us war criminals, one more bomb, makes us really right.

If the left dosen't let Bush win the war on terror the "nice" way, like we are trying, we will end up with the nuke option. The left always waits until its to late to do anything else. Fight for Bush or join the left and slaughter a whole lot of people. Thats what the traditional left seems to like, eg Stalin, Lenon, Cambodia.

You see that us conservatives, actually care about people, unlike the left, that claims to, yet slaughters endless people.

The snowman's basic point is that if we ignore the terrorist problem, as many on the left want, one day before too long, we're gonna absorb a WMD hit in this country... And when that happens, we're gonna end up taking out a whole bunch of people in retaliation. Hell, even the pinkos in France are threatening the use of nukes if they are attacked (see above)...

Let’s say you have a swarm of Killer Bees.

The left would say “Only kill the Bees that actively seek and sting humans. The other Bees that welcome them into the Hive are innocent.”

The right would say “ Kill all the Bees. The Bees that welcome the stingers into the hive are harboring stingers and are just as guilty.”

So the left at hive “A” only smack a couple Bees. Saving the “innocent” Bees from war crimes.

The right at hive “B” fire up a flame thrower and melt the nest with ALL the Bees inside killing every single Bee dead.

Who will get stung in the very near future….the right or the left?

Have you guys read the Sum of All Fears? Not the lame movie, I mean the original Clancy book? After ragheads nuke the Superbowl, the pres. orders Qum, a holy city in Iran, nuked just because.

Actually, as much as I'm for no-holds-barred going after the terrorists, killing the whole hive, whatever, I'm not sure how using a nuke would make us any safer. Most of the people killed in the war on terror already have been Muslims killling fellow Muslims. We might be the glue that holds the real terrorists together.

So Snowman, which city should we nuke? Saudi Arabia is pretty much out. We need their help and there are tens of thousands of Americans working there. Jordan is an ally, Syria needs a spanking, but doesn't much threaten us. Iran's population is overwhelmingly pro-US, thought their gov't. is run by nuts. Why kill the folks who like us? What next? Pakistan? They're gov't. is with us, while their population hates us, but they have nukes too. I would shed no tears if we clean up the nighborhood, but I can't think of a place where the cost-benefit deal comes out in our favor.

Gosh, I am really learning something today about how simple this all is. Hey, I've got a question. It sounds like this issue becomes resolved once you have dropped a few A-bombs on a few ME cities. Fair 'nuff. I notice that when it comes to exterminating cockroaches, you can bomb a particular house and this gets rid of the roaches in that house but does not get rid of them in other houses, nor does it prevent the roaches from returning to the extermination site. Tell me, oh wise ones in the ways of foreign policy and the making of peace and security, tell me how would you go about exterminating the rest of the cockroaches.

No Rodeo, I think the point is thaty a nuke will make other ME governments get serious about reining in the terrorists that operate in their countries. It couldn't be too hard if they reallt wanted to, since most of them are police states.
