BTW...Abortion and its legality in un-Constitutionally a SCOTUS issue. It is a legislative issue and it is the SCOTUS' responsibility to overturn it. |

They can't do anything about it. |

I sorta likes "nook-u-lur" as a pronuncimiation, not that you aksd...you know what I am talking about?...get down bra.
|
I'm guilty of the "nook-u-lur" too, must be a midwest thing. Like people from the south say "worsh" instead of wash, and "sahlmon" instead of salmon.
As for abortion, I don't care if it's a SC issue, if a candidate supports it, I won't support them. I don't give a $hit what party they're in. It's the principle. |

And I also can't recall ever saying that I thought it was ok for the Republicans to take bribes but not the Democrats... But then again, when have facts ever stopped you... |

That was Racervbd. It was a mistake of who posted it, not a missing of facts. Read up for his post, fool. So, fastpat, that was regarding racerbvd's post, not nathans_dad, but it doesn't change what I was stating, just correcting that it was racerbvd's example this time. |

Gosh guys, I posted my reply to Rodeo proving the "DNC support" issue as he asked and over 10 hours later Rodeo has not posted one time nor has he taken my bet to prove how I have made money from the Iraq war as he continues to tell everyone?
Does he have his head in the sand again or is he afraid to finally agree that he lost his $5000 bet to me? Guess he will now have to take up my bet for $5000 and prove as he keeps boasting that I am a war profiteer. We are waiting Rodeo. Do I hear more chicken noises again? If you are trying to grow a backbone, it takes a long time for a liberal. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1138782751.jpg |

Joe, what in your petty mind did I "lose?" I genuinely don't care dude. Caring about Sheehan is like caring about Paris Hilton. And what "drum" am I beating? I siad "that's kinda whacked" and that was the end of story...my last comment on the topic...that's kinda whacked. The rest is nothing but trolling and me giving it back.. I tend to agree that if the head of the DNC is saying stuff like that, it's support to me. I see what Rodeo's saying, he has a good point (which of course is lost in the Go Team Republicans game that is much, much more important than civil discussion) but I don't quite agree. So tell me Joe: 1. What did I "lose?" 2. What drum am I beating? |

You vote for people over a single issue who can't do anything about that issue anyway. Who gives a damn if they're capable for the job or not, right? LOL |
So Joe, tell me, what did I "lose?"
And why can't people like Rodeo just simply disagree with you? Why is a disagreement "winning" and "losing?" What did you "win?" Did you win a neocon prize or something? Did you "win" a gold star? Or a car? Or a drink at a bar? Is a babe included? What did you "win" Joe? |
Was referring to the argument about Sheehan being supported by the DNC. Actually believe that you admitted that she was being supported by the DNC so its only Rodeo but then he would not admit to being hit with a 2X4 even after it hit him in between the eyes.
Its not a simple disagreement with Rodeo, as he is telling lies about myself and others on the forum. My issue with him is that he says that I have gotten money from the Iraq war, which is completely not true. He keeps repeating this lie then when I call him on it he sidesteps and then tries to bet me about the DNC and Sheehan. Once I prove my case with the DNC and Sheehan he refuses to honor his bet, which we all expected. He still refuses to prove that I have gotten even one penny from the war yet keeps spouting off the same lie. Lets say that someone said that CC was a convicted criminal on this or any other forum you frequent, for instance had been involved in a kidnapping or tax evasion, and it was not true. Would you stand by quietly and not say a word? How long would you stand by and let it continue? Doubt that you would do nothing and you would after a while have enough and call their bluff. Am not a "neocon" so no idea what their prizes are. Have enough cars, motocycles and airplanes now, no gold stars needed, can buy my own drinks thank you. Babe? She left this morning but sure hope that she will return tonight... Would take the winning lotto numbers if you happen to have them?? :) What I would like is for Rodeo to stand up and for once be a man. If he has proof to back up his statement about me that I have profited from the Iraq war, show it and I will pay him or his favorite charity $5000. If not then he needs to either start telling the truth for a change or the moderators need to step in and stop his lying on the forum. If everyone looks at the rules for this forum (below) I do not see anywhere that lying about someone on a continued basis is allowed. Believe it might be covered under "personal attacks" and if so then his posts, if not proven, need to be dealt with. Rodeo is lying in this case, and until he proves it I will continue to go after him for it. One small question CC. You say that you are not a Dem or Repub, and that you look at both sides of everything. You know me and knew who I flew for last year. Do you think that I am profiting from war in Iraq? If the answer is no, then why havent you stood up and called Rodeo for his flaming? Joe A Please read these rules and guidelines to posting here on the Pelican Parts OT forum: First, the rules Originally posted 07-03-2001: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. No flaming: debates are ok, but responding to threads just to incite or start an argument or conflict is not permitted. Personal attacks, if hostile in nature, are not allowed. Added on 11-24-04: What matters here is that we treat each other with mutual respect, and deal with each other in a mature manner. There will be posts in the off topic area that will have heated debates. Please approach such threads with caution: be as clear as possible in posting your views, so you won't be mis-interpretted. Heated debates are good, as long as people enter them with a mature attitude and are willing to "agree to disagree." Mutual respect goes a long way. I don't believe these guidelines are unreasonable. Let's have fun here, but keep the peace too. |
My offer stands --- $5,000 for anyone that can prove the Democratic party "supports" Cindy Sheehan.
As you probably suspect, a blog from Dr. Dean saying that everyone should support Sheehan does not do it. JoeA's lie was that the DNC "supports" her, which I took to mean financial support (is there any other kind?), but he says, "no, I just meant they support her." The only other kind of support from an organization as big and varied as the DNC would be a declaration of support, a Resolution, something of that sort. Now I know all you Bushies are used to a "cabal" running things, so if Cheney said he "supported" someone, he would muscle the administration into going along. The Dems don't do things that way. If the DNC wants to support something or someone, they will debate it and vote on it. They don't run a monarchy like King Cheney. Joe doesn’t want to risk his war profits, so I’ll open it up to anyone with a fascination for the Wizard of Oz or warrantless wiretaps. |
As mentioned before, it's sure interesting that it wasn't a Republican (or any or any other party) that gave up their ticket to let her in. This woman is acting like a high school buffoon for the pathetic attention and support she's receives. She is oblivious to the fact that she is merely a tool...and that can be interpreted in many ways.
"Police Remove Sheehan From Bush Speech" http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060201/ap_on_go_pr_wh/state_of_union_sheehan "Rep. Lynn Woolsey (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif., gave Sheehan her only ticket earlier in the day — Gallery 5, seat 7, row A — while Sheehan was attending an "alternative state of the union" news conference by CODEPINK, a group pushing for an end to the Iraq war." |
