Top Gear: you cant kill a Toyota

Top Gear tries to destroy a Toyota

This video is the absolute truth, I had a 85 SR5. I drove that thing off hills, drove it into walls, did burnouts in it (rather easy), and just mashed and bashed it. Always ran, every day

This is why I own Toyota pickups. I've had an '83, an '84, two '87s and two 2001s. I fourwheeled the '83, '84 and one of the '87s and they *never* broke.

Even one of my Jeep friends is now thinking of selling his highly modified Wrangler and getting an old Toyota. :>)

Toyota is the only way to go in my book. I've owned many of them now. Here is a couple pics of my first Toyota. It is a '87 pickup with the 22R motor. Ran like a champ! These pics were taken when the truck had about 230000 miles on the clock. Check 'em out!

Took a '96 up a mountain in CO, amazing how capable they are stock. My wife has an '04, and it's been flawless. That video does us proud.
