Project Evil e30: Just some latest pics
Made the downpipe last night using FLUXCORE because I ran out of gas and just wanted to get it done. After some grinding, paint and thermal wrap you won't notice.
![]() Also mounted the IC up front. Here is my downpipe escapade: ![]() Flange w/ wastegate hole made larger. ![]() Cut piece of 2.5" stainless pipe to fit ![]() Fitting ![]() welded. Ufff, those are some gangster welds. And yes I did cut a hole in the downpipe. Just forgot to take a pic, lol. Some pics of the car: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I bet your neighbors love that parked out in the street! Nice work, I wish I had a welder to ghetto weld with.

I do pretty well when I has the gas hooked up. I'll post some pics of some previous work. Not to shabby for a novice.
That fluxcore is nasty stuff. Sparks and smoke and slag everywhere. I think those are clean flux welds, lol. I hope to hit up some track events down south in the next few months we should definelty meet up. |

I get fairly good results with the fluxcore stuff as long as I don't go over .35 and let it do it's own speed. Gas is nice but the other is ok if you have the time to wait . I found bump up the temp and slow down the speed it works well.
