He was in dialysis to remove to excess fluid four days a week, but his weight could fluctuate by 100 lbs. within a month. This was also causing his kidneys to fail. He had a bad cold. From what his doctor and the police told me, it looked like he got up that morning and was getting dressed. He apparently decided to take a nap before putting on his shirt and never woke up. His friend found him when he stopped by to pick him up for dialysis. I'm just glad he didn't die in the hospital. He would have hated that.
My condolences - I understand it must have been hard for him being ill and all but at least he died in peace. I hope when my mother passes it will be in her sleep.

I'm very sorry. You and your family are in my prayers as this is never an easy thing to go through.

Man Legion, I am 27 and I could not imagine having to do what you are doing right now. You are a lot more of a man than I am. It is pathetic how much I rely on my Dad. I lost my Grandmother yesterday, but she was 87 and bed ridden so although I miss her, it was a blessing. I am really sorry for your loss, Best wishes.

Rich
