Take lots of photos!
Hope this is going to finally be solved. I did not know about the smaller antenna being knocked off. That did not help at all. Joe

Do a Google on TIGHAR. They are the ones that have been doing the search. Their site is full of factual data. I went thru it again last night. They have run down many of the false positives. Anyone that has ever flown this part of the world knows how desolate and remote it is.
I have another run to BoraBora next month, and we do it nonstop from Los Angeles in a twin. One of the few runs I do that still makes me nervous (Miami to Rio is the other). 9 hours enroute of only one alternate that is 1100 NM off the course. A lot of open water. Over the years I have noted the location of every atoll we pass on our charts. Most of these are awash at high tide or if the wind is blowing. We make a note of the position of every ship we see. Hoping that I'll never need any of the info.

Great link...I have flown in that area quite a bit. Some of the atolls are incredibly beautiful from the air.

If true, the discovery channel show or shows on this may be the thing to push me into being a dish subscriber. I remember my parents wondering about the mystery...
