Personal Injury SoCal?

Hey, any recommendations on a Los Angeles personal injury attorney?...Some dude in an Audi turned left in front of me on Sunset Blvd, while I was on the Triumph...I am not looking for an ambulance chasing scumbag. I just want to be taken care of.

I can't walk easily right now as there is a big ole' gouge just proximal to my kneecap, exposing the tendons and patella.

BTW...Kaiser sucks.

Umm...I'm no doctor, but if you're seeing tendons and stuff, that can't be good. I'd consider going to UCLA emergency since it's close to you, or St. Joseph's on Santa Monica.

Make sure you see a first-rate ortho. Tendon damage can be awful if not managed correctly the first time.

Glad your (relatively) OK.

Moses: Ya, I am starting to agree with that assessment. I can't abduct to the rear, bend my knee or lift to the front. The on-call ortho put one staple in to allow for drainage. He gave me a bag of IV Ancef and told me to f/u in five days. I may need to get there sooner.

Little road rash, basically I just fell to the ground after impact. No throw over hood or anything. Didn't think I would be able to breathe after being knocked out of wind...Didn't realize I had a gaping wound until the LAFD cut my pants off...Shock and adrenaline masked underlying symptoms.

Was it a black Audi wagon?

Good thing it did not happen in South Carolina, god knows what the health care system might do to you in that neck of the woods!

How bad is the bike?

That would be cool. There is an entrance to the WashingtonMutual/El Polo Loco mini-mall, right when you enter you look to the left (heaven forbid ) and you will see a Red/Black Triumph parked on the periphery of a handicapped spot.

Unfortunately I am immobile presently, as my accelerator leg is the leg incapacitated.

Kaiser is a prime example of why the government shouldn't get near the medical industry. One big incompetent bureaucracy. I had to direct my care, thankfully medical language is my speciality.

Bike - handebars broken, speedo and tach broken. I am imagining rim and fork damage...I didn't get a good chance to assess.
