To quote one of my old flight instructors:

"You can make a brick fly if you apply enough power to it"

Conclusion: All that stuff about drag, airfoils, Bernoulli's Principle, pressure gradients, etc. is only partially necessary. To really get performance, simply add mo' powah!!!

A fellow sufferer! Thus far, the only purpose of this class has been to convince me that I have zero interest in aerodynamics. I hate school...........

oh? So there is a real word use for this?

i understand learning concepts and theory's behind lift devices,why the stall pattern looks a certain way,boundary layers...blah blah blah ext...

but i cant stand endless chugging away with equations!

but i guess your right, i could appreciate it when I'm in the
"real world earning a living with aerodynamics"

only a few more years.....
