I got suckered into a long PBS commentary on that song "We keep on waiting (WAY-TING) on the world to change" as a reflection of the new generation (millenials?) view on world events.

Oh wow, I remember being irked by that song when it was radio popular.

I'd hear it in waiting rooms, some public stores. Fortunately not much else.

Ugh.

I think the same guy had "slow dancing in a burning building", or some such?

There is not anything popular when I was a kid that I liked then, and I probably still don't like much of it now.

How about an older song that is as still relevant today as when it was first out.
Barry Maguire: Eve of Destruction. Listen to the lyrics again .Sums up alot of
today's issues.

Yea, my post count is silly. I have three computers here in my home office. I will start one on a task with a mapping or aerial photo task that takes it hours, but needs to be monitored. I then fire up one of the other computers to keep me entertained on PPOT.

The VAST majority of the posts are in the random pictures thread. No typing, just photos. A bunch are in the Stijn thread, and lots in the Joke thread.

If you eliminate just those three threads, I have a fairly normal post count. (Over 16,600 in Stijn thread, and 15,900 in Random pics)

The advantage of no boss looking over my shoulder, and many hours sitting in front of a computer waiting for it to finish a task so I can start it on the next step.
