Ok everyone, another night of debauchery has been held. Well, at least the eating, drinking and cigar smoking part of it.

We went to the buffet at Bellagio today and gorged ourselves. Piles of King Crab legs, prime rib, shrimp, swordfish, sea bass and so on. Tabs kept saying that several of the people were not keeping up with the consumption of G9 and that they needed to improve. Keri and Kyle as well need to learn the proper method of "gorgeing at the buffet" to improve their technique.

Here are a couple of photos. First shows the gang after dessert:

Tabs on the left, myself, RandyP, Fintstone, Redbeard, CC is powdering her nose and Slakjaw (Klye).

Hit the enter key too soon. Who the person behind the napkin is a good question....

After the flash of the first photo, the person behind the menu transformed himself to "Abdul the terrible" for this shot:

We may have to send our "terrorist greeting team" to find out who this mystery person is.

We then adjourned to the Fontana bar and once again sat out on the balcony and swilled whiskey, smoked cigars and told lies. Fintstone and CC discussed the finer points of world domination and terrorism while the rest of us talked about Porsche's and ladies...

Kyle airlines out at 07:00, Redbeard and wife is out around midnight, CC sometime Monday and believe that Randy is staying a few days.

More as we get it! I ran out of steam due to jet lag about 9 tonight and headed for the hotel. There will probably be more posts and photos later tonight as they get back to the hotel...

Meeting tomorrow is at the Starbucks again at 09:30.

Great stuff, Joe. I couldn't help from laughing at the photos.

Only thing is, the way this event was broadcast, I thought there'd be more Pelicans there.

I'm in Aspen, where it is snowing to beat the band. I got royally screwed out of the days off, approved months ago.

Todd, that run IS an easy one, I quite often go up and back same day. The Gold Wing makes it easy, tho it is a little tougher (but more fun) on the sportbikes.

It IS nice seeing the faces that go with the opinions.

DD,

If the "Brian Redman/917 engine" event had not been held this weekend in LA we probably would have had at least another 10-20 people there. Only 2 people (Todd and Kim) from the LA/SoCal area came here, while a lot more had shown interest. Both Wayne and Tyson had talked about coming.

As well several people had illnesses in the family. I had talked Scott B in LGB into flying his Bell 47 helicopter to Vegas and surprise everyone. Was going to meet him part way carrying fuel for the flight if needed. Then just last week his Mother got out of the hospital after a two week stay and he was needed there more.

Then we have Vinman and his Father going in the hospital. Leland and a blizzard hitting in Montana and so on. Lubemaster had work get in the way. No idea what happened to Mul nor G9 and several others.

The next event will be a lot bigger. The interest is there and we had an excellent time. Next time there needs to be a track or motorsports event, and would love to go to a show (Blue man or Circqe) but otherwise we had a very good time.

The funny thing is that there were forcasts of people coming to blows or being ambushed. Everyone got along very well and a lot of new friends were made this weekend. It was good to put a name and personality to a forum name and believe that this will expand greatly and another one will be held again and soon.

Michael, enjoy "has been" Colorado, its still one of my favourite places around. Next time you need to learn how to get sick faster! Fly safe!

Joe A

So bummed I couldn't make this. I'll be in Vegas and Phoenix for July 4th weekend, if anyone's there then. Anyone coming to the DC area, please give a heads up.

Would have loved too. But somebody was paying me to run the audio for the event, (which is part of my job). Gotta pay the bills.

Looks like you all had a great time. Can't wait for next years.

Only about half the group was in this picture. Some had already left or had other plans.
