It had the same effect on me. No thanks. Plus my wife was on anti depressants for a LONG time and they REALLY screwed her up. No thanks.

The 20lbs you gained was probably just from quitting smoking to begin with.

i am 8+ weeks in and had the best success EVER (ive tried to quit 50x it seems) with chantix. been off it now for 2 weeks as it made me feel crummy & have very strange dreams, but it worked. that & my doc would not sign off on my NASA provisional race lic until i made some "life changes".

i feel pretty good and have smoked a couple while having a drink with a few smoking buddies in the last few weeks but i feel i have a real handle on it this time. its not out drinking that the worst cravings hit its like in the garage on the weekend working on the car, after certain day to day activities that you'd never expect.

if your doc will give you chantix try it. i had donr the anti depressants and such but this is the bomb. my insurance covered it too

some older dirt bags, 20 somethings i worked with while I was in high school would not take me to "lunch" anymore if i was going to continue to use chewing gum to make the smell of what we smoked at lunch go away. they insisted i have a smoke to mask the smell of the rope we burnt cause the gum was a give away. i became a smoker about that time..... stupid kelly moore paints

If I could just have one once in a while, I'd be soooo much happier. But I know I can't. The most dangerous area for me is when I feel like I have it kicked and then think having one or two won't be any problem. Always wrong there.
