Chevy marketing....lol...

So these idiots have a website setup that let you make your own tahoe commercial online and mail it to others. We have had a field day with this thing. I hope mine says up long enough for you to watch it.

Of course I am a willing patsy in their viral marketing ploy, but its just to much fun.

No such thing as bad publicity. Imagine how many people will hit the site looking for "bad" adds.

Excellent, VaS !!

There seem to be a LOT of anti-SUV creations like this:
http://www.chevyapprentice.com/view.php?country=us&uniqueid=f548eed2-155d-1029-98eb-0013724ff5a7

But then the occasional oddity:

They are in big, big trouble as a company.

If you look at the new zero-interest deal they are now running on TV for Tahoes, you may see in fine print that the offer applies to vehicles "in dealer stock as of 11/05/05!" In other words, the deal is only good for trucks that have been sitting there for five months.

Somebody at Chevrolet probably decided that the "bad" commercials would make great viral marketing -- that people saying bad things about SUVs would only serve to amuse real prospects.

And they may be right.

GM really doesn't know how to market anything. They got lucky when the hip-hop/rap crowd latched onto the Cadillac Escalade (Slade) but other than that, what have they done?

BTW....I love those Tahoe commercials....way too funny!!
