1st One Who Can Put Tabs To Shame Gets $100
Hear Ye, Hear ye...come one, come all and LISTEN UP!
Come on Boyz and DO SOMETHING EVEN THE MIGHTY TABS CAN'T DO and thats eat 2 Manuel Special Burritios at one sitting. I DARE anybody to try and for that reason I am offering to any P Head that frequents this Board $100. So for a limited time only I am offering $100 to the FIRST PERSON who can put me to shame.... BY eating TWO, (2) Manuel Special Burritos at Manuel El Tepeyac in East Los Anglese. The rules are: 1. You must eat TWO (2) Manuel Specials within ONE HOUR 2. No Sharing, No Doggy Bag, Plate has to be licked clean by one person. 3. A person of integrity must observe this feat of culinary excess to verify that the person acomplished the feat without cheating...Nostatus or even Wayne will do..and there must be attendant pictures of the fool...I mean person who trys. Or a mutaully agreed upon person can be substitiuted for the verifier http://www.littleburro.com/taquerias/taqueria-02.html

"Manuel's Special, over five pounds worth of ingredients that fill two tortillas to near bursting, is the Mount Everest of burritos...."
Man, I would hate to be your toilet bowl.

Ten years ago, I would have taken you on. While living in SLO town there was a little burrito joint that made some big burritos. I was tempted for a few minutes - until I saw it would be ten pounds in an hour. Ingredients seemed easy enough. Hm, I'm gettin' hungy.

You bastard! Why did you not announce this bet when we were all in Vegas and able to give you a run for you money!
Bet that Red or myself could eat you under the table Sir! ![]() If I were not heading overseas again in a few days your money would be mine! (or I would be very full! )

Tabs, there is no freakin' way anyone can finish just one! The damn thing is freakishly too big. I'll share one with you, and we can take home what is left of the beast...El Tepeyac is just down the street from my house....I can barely finish off about a 1/3 of it on a good day...

No mention of the No Vomit rule? I'd assume that's part of the dare.
BTW, I wanna see a pic of this monster.

There is of course a NO Purge rule in effect...and I never ate 2 of them at a time...I've had 2 in my life....I usually get the Machaca with Taquitos or some combination there of...and if you put a brown paper bag over her head you can't tell if its Fugly or Sharon Stone...

Tabs, I am absolutely sure I could do this, if I were in East LA. Absolutely, positively sure.
Can you FedEx me two overnight? I'll capture it on film. I have no idea of the size of these things, but I have an appetite that just won't quit, and a hollow leg to boot. For anyone here in Seattle familliar with Beth's Cafe, I could eat two of thier 12-egg omelettes. They're served on a pizza platter. |
