Actually that order is meaningless. Notice you're last in the list?

yes, I'm last because I am on and off every time... a new browser window each time. It's a chronological list of consistent open window activity, first on, first in.

Idiot, you think that I take the laptop with me to dinner!!???

It stays plugged in here in the room, connected to the WiFi here. Am downloading some TV programs over the internet from my house in Phoenix. When the signal is descent I let it run, when its not I move it into the exec lounge and press on.

The signal comes and goes, right now have 36%. Its enough to be logged on to the webpage but not enough to post long replies.

Just what does this have to do with your not paying me the money you owe me? Keep trying to find holes in my story, which you will not.

Time to hit the sack, its 23:38 over here... hope you all have a good time fleshing this out...

Whatever social experiment it was you were running, I certainly hope that "total loss of trust and credibility" was factored into your equation.

Get your facts straight, pay Joe his money ans STFU.

Remember that perception is reality.

Whatever. you guys still think bush is doing a good job. Reality is reality. Period. if you want to live in your own perception bubble, go right ahead.

Oh, and STFU.

Couldnt care less about your version of a political argument, I dont' care one whit whether you or Joe are politically accurate or whose party is better - it don't matter to me.

In this case:

Perception - Shaun welched on a bet = Shaun is untrustworthy and lacks integrity & honor.

Reality - Anyone considering doing business with Shaun (professionally or personally) thinks twice. Or thrice.

Did you think about that little wild card vis-a-vis your start-up venture? Things have a way of boomeranging back at one I've learned.

WTF?!
I never, ever mentioned Bush. It's not political. It's a matter of losing a bet and paying up. What is so hard to understand?

Holy sh...

I've been paying no attention to this stuff, so excuse my unawareness of the chain of events, but it seems like somebody needs to sit down and read this little ditty that I'm glad I read as a kid:

[IF]

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

--Rudyard Kipling

Shaun - the Pelican OT forum may not be the real world, but it's part of your world, and I wish you could see how horribly you are damaging that world. There are currently three threads running in concern with you and your credibility. In one of those threads, as I read it, it sounds as if Nostatic is all but ready to ban you from OT entirely.

Yes, this forum may not have an incredibly large bearing on you or your business, but when one reaches 1,000 posts, the Pelican board undoubtedly holds something for them whether it be from an interest in cars, personalities, politics or just general blather/entertainment.

This thread that you began ("My apologies') is a very good start toward reparation. But I'll also call to your attention that at the point I am writing this post, no one who you've at one time aligned with, except for Rodeo, has posted on it. Not Cool Chick, not Speeder, not even Tabs. That says to me these people have lost faith in you, at least for the time being. I do hope, however, that this loss of faith is not permanent.

You apologized, you said you'd repay Joe, and in all honesty, that is the most you can do. This tit-for-tat back and forth you're engaged with is not helping your cause. I think you should just step back, breathe a bit, and motor about your life w/o Pelican OT for a while. For the last two days, starting with the "experiment" I have read nothing but frustration in your words that have now gone not just from defensive to offensive, but offensive toward an entire community who feel, as you confirm, taken gross, if not strange, advantage of.

IMO, you'd be better off focusing your energy on the orders you have to fill that have stacked up since your March show, and expanding what looks like your boys version of G9. It'll do you a hell of a lot better than hanging around here, digging yourself into nothing of real value.

Again, just pay Joe, let your apology stand, and be done.

Best of luck with everything.

Thanks, Randy.

Like I've said, I just hate to see a guy go down in flames over something as trivial as what the last three days' worth of posts on this topic have shown.
