Any hidden web cams? Sorry I just couldn't resist.

Agreed. Lots of opportunities for engineers in Albuquerque... Particularly in gvt. Small enough town that a good or bad rep will follow.

I've worked for Honeywell years ago (pre allied signal) - was a good training ground.

Best bet is to get a local college newspaper. People will sublet their apartment for the summer pretty cheaply. Even better is to rent or sublet a room from a college kid. Even even better is if the roomies are of the opposite gender.

Normally that wouldn't be a bad idea, except that i have a fiance.
Well i took a trip to albuquerque this weekend, it's expanded far beyond what it used to be (so i'm told). It's getting close to or at el paso in size. It's like the median between las cruces and new jersey (i used to live in jersey). Laid back lifestyle and not so eye opening cost of living like las cruces without the poluttion, traffic, and rude attitudes of new jeresey.
I also got a chance to take a peak at honeywell, it's actually honeywell aerospace division, and pretty damn big too. Had a parking lot that would make for one mean autocross course borderline road course if you know what i mean. Anyhow should be exciting, i counted three different two story malls of very good size within albuquerque (reminds me of jersey, mall at every damn corner), and i have a few apartment places that will do 3 month lease (not many).
So anyhow, two more weeks of class, then finals, and then i'm off.
